“ Outstanding food and a little bit lower price point than many of the other steakhouses in Old Montreall. Dark rooms very reminiscent of steakhouses in America so it provides a very cozy feel. Sound level was a little loud but we were there during Formula 1 weekend. We had a wonderful time and the food was fantastic. ”

I rarely wander with their menu, it’s the Wedge Salad with blue cheese dressing and a baseball sirloin Cooke rare Chicago style. Both were SPECTACULAR! The steak was perfect and the salad was over the top. On top of this the level of service received from the hosts to our awesome waiter was excellent. We will 1000% be back! “ Recently, I dined at The Keg while in Montreal, which remains one of my favorite restaurants. I started off with a delicious onion soup that had mushrooms in it. For my main course, I chose the filet mignon—such a treat! I also ordered two cocktails: an espresso martini and a margarita. I consistently appreciate the quality of the food and the pleasing taste of their cocktails. My experiences there have always met my expectations, and I look forward to returning with my daughter in the near future. ”
“ Valentine’s Day review : Honestly hands down the best location. We got a nice spot in the bar at 3:30 on vday before the crowd came. Our waiter Greg was nice we had a nice experience. I would recommend the wedge salad with blue cheese. March 5th review: 10 stars go to Danielle he was the best waiter we ever had and really cares about his job. He explained all the specials which was nice. He offered us the three cheese butter ( if you don’t ask usually they won’t give it to you but you need to try it ) for the warm bread and gave us a larger portion of butter then they usually do. The twice baked potatoe was not rushed so made with love. Loads of bacon bits and super creamy. Got so many more veggies this time around and the steak was great and cooked to perfection. Check out my boyfriend’s lobster tail they killed it even with the butter my goodness ! Usually they give you the normal clear butter but the one we got was way better and I forget the name but it’s not served at the other kegs. ”

I didn’t get his name but hopefully you will have the pleasure of being served by him! The food and drinks were delicious , I also really appreciated the ice cream birthday cake. The manager came by twice to make sure that everything was good and to personally wish me a happy birthday. Absolutely 5 star service , great ambience as well. Thanks again !!! ”
